The Northeast Center for Atmospheric Science and Policy was established to complement and link atmospheric science and policy research being conducted at the University of New Hampshire and at the Northeast Center for a Clean Air Future.

The goal of this enterprise is to enhance our understanding of air quality issues and analytical tools that enable meaningful policy at the regional level. This goal is critical insofar as the Northeast U.S. has shown the leadership and political will to act on critical air quality issues when provided a sound, technical and economic foundation on which to build.
